Industrial rockers' Calling All Astronauts have released their sixth single of the COVID-19 pandemic, Resist today ( February 19th). The track was mixed by double Grammy winner Alan Branch ( NIN, U2, Depeche Mode). Resist is a political take on the Antifa movement and in particular, the battle against Fascism and far-right politics. The track is 3 minutes of industrial rock with dark atmospherics that highlight the continuous struggle. The track opens with a distorted riff, accompanied by swirling electronics. This builds with each passage that culminates in a foreboding bridge and chorus. The song continues to produce stark dynamics with a murky bassline that resolves in the song finding a message at the end.
